Hi. My full name is Jeremy David Richards and I was born at the Heath Hospital in Cardiff on 20th August 1974. I live in Hengoed in the South Wales valleys and follows more information about my background and experiences in music.

I began to play the keyboard in 1985 at the age of 11. I also started taking piano lessons at that age and was keen listening to 1970's electronic music and chart music. My father bought me my first electronic keyboard that year and I began performing at occasional school concerts playing the keyboard.

As time went on I began listening to and being influenced by 1970's progressive rock music and through buying and selling keyboards I improved consistently. In 1990 I began a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at Crosskeys College studying music and drama. I started to take singing lessons later that year. Also I performed on many occasions playing the keyboards and singing amongst bands plus solo concerts at the college, and at many other venues including Blackwood Miners Institute and the Dolman Theatre in Newport.

After completing the course I began doing regular paid gigs in pubs, clubs, schools, hotels, and other venues performing pop and rock covers including original material, solo and with other musicians. In addition I completed a jazz masterclass and a drama masterclass. In the late 1990's I started to play the grand piano regularly in St David's Hall on the restaurant stage playing ambient background music of my own and other compositions.

From the age of 11 I have written my own material consisting of songs and instrumentals. I enjoy listening to many styles of music including rock, jazz, folk, and classical, but my favourite kind of music is 1970's progressive rock. I am also available for bookings to perform my own material or to play ambient background music as you wish on my Korg Triton synthesizer otherwise piano if supplied.
